‘Abby—that is the name of the new art and exhibition site in and around the remains of the former Groeninge Abbey in Kortrijk. The building itself is a lesson in architecture, not only in museum architecture or design, but also in how to engage with historical buildings. The result is a modest yet inviting gesture towards future visitors.’
